We use Nufree, a premium, medical-grade, soy-based, vegan resin hair removal system, designed for superior comfort and results. For best results, hair should be no longer than 1/2 inch prior to your appointment. If hair is longer, please trim beforehand as we are unable to trim hair in-salon for sanitary reasons. Proper preparation ensures a more comfortable and effective service. If hair is significantly overgrown, service may be modified.​​

Finipil is a patented, Doctor recommended and FDA-approved antiseptic cream that kills 99.99% of bacteria on skin, protecting against ingrown hairs, keeping empty hair follicles clean, protected, and moisturized. For home use, apply a small amount daily to damp skin after you wash your face or after a shower to helps eliminates bacteria in pores and promote thinner hair growth to keeping your skin smooth between waxing sessions.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Refrain from taking a shower immediately before a hair removal appointment. Soaking the hair will soften it, allowing it to break more easily and can make removal less effective. It's recommended that the area to be waxed is clean and completely dry for your appointment.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET WAXED?
Every 4-6 weeks is ideal. Regular waxing helps maintain smoother results and more comfortable treatments over time.

CAN I WAX MY FACE IF I'M USING RETIN-A OR ACCUTANE?
Waxing is not recommended if you are currently using these medications as they can increase skin sensitivity and make skin more fragile and prone to lifting during hair removal. Please consult your physician if you are unsure whether waxing is appropriate while using any specific medication.
DOES WAXING MAKE HAIR GROW BACK THICKER & DARKER?
No, waxing does not change the structure of hair growth. With consistent waxing, hair often appears softer and finer over time. Unlike shaving, which cuts hair at the surface and creates stubble, waxing removes hair from the root for a softer regrowth.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF WAXING VERSUS SHAVING?
Waxing removes hair from the root, resulting in smoother skin and longer-lasting results compared to shaving. With regular appointments, many clients notice slower and less hair regrowth without skin irritation.​​

WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER WAXING? CAN I WORK OUT AFTERWARD?
It's recommended to avoid intense exercise, sweating, heat and friction for 24-48 hours after your appointment. This allows the skin to calm and the follicles to properly close, helping reduce irritation and sensitivity. During this time, it's also best to avoid hot baths, saunas, and heavy skincare products on the treated area.

WILL I GET INGROWN HAIRS?
Ingrown hairs are possible with any form of hair removal. Gentle exfoliation 2-3 times per week afterwards can help prevent them and maintain smooth results. ​

WHAT IS A BRAZILIAN WAX AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
A Brazilian wax removes all or most of the hair from the front and back, with the option to leave a small shape if desired. Everything is fully customized based on your comfort level. A Brazilian wax typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Discomfort varies by individual, but the service is performed quickly and efficiently to ensure the most comfortable experience. Because Nufree doesn't stick or harden on to sensitive areas, it's about 75% less painful than traditional wax. If you are sensitive to discomfort and are able to take over-the-counter pain relief, taking ibuprofen or aspirin about 1 hour before your appointment may help to increase comfort during your Brazilian wax. ​​
